barbican theatre posters: shakespeare plays
We were given this brief to design a series of 3 posters to promote three of Shakespeare’s plays at the Baribican Theatre. Original imagery also had to be incorporated into the poster.
I wanted to create a concept for the imagery which could be used as a template by the Barbican to apply to future plays. I decided to use the script of the plays and gave the characters a colour to enable me to highlight their parts in the script accordingly. Each poster has a specific colour scheme that reflects the plot involved in each play.
