things: memories from my childhood
The brief was to consider relationships between things we own and represent this as a structure.
I decided to concentrate on the 6 of my things which encapsulate childhood memories and showed this through a book structure. Each object has a colour and each page represents a year of ownership of that object. The holes within a page show the memories of having that object in that year lost. Therefore the bigger the holes, the more memory of having that object is lost. I feel I managed to reflect the essence of memory and how delicate it is through the book.
