thames waste
I selected 6 different location within a square mile of each other along the River Thames, London. I allowed myself a time limit of 30 minutes to collect as much unnatural deposited waste as possible. This restriction made the data collected more credible in terms of comparison.
The 6 locations were: Bell Wharf, Bankside, Paul's Walk, Gabriel's Wharf, Hungerford Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge.
I became intrigued by the variation in the amount of waste and materials found even within such a small section of the river.
Using the pieces of waste collected, I created unique radial patterns for each location that illustrated the comparison between each location by showing
the differences in quantity of waste and trends of the type of materials found.
